Putah Creek is a volunteer based organization that maintains the Putah Creek Watershed in California. Their goal was to increase their volunteering by 20%.
In their home page design I created many opportunities to show off their beautiful images of volunteers at work at the beautiful Putah Creek River.
Inspired by the way a river flows, the layout I designed mimics the bends a river would take.
In the background I added simple graphical icons that represent features of the river: its waves, droplets, and river rocks. I am also using the wave element to embellish the call's to action.
