At their 50 year mark, San Francisco’s Golden Hill Golf Club was looking for a logo that didn’t feel like every other golf logo on the market. The design I created is a modern interpretation of the “golden hills” of California.
I spent the majority of my creative energy on differentiating this logo from every "other" golf club swinging logo. The two differentiators were:
1. They consider themselves a social club first. They have dinners, go for drinks, and genuinely enjoy each other's company.
2. They aren't a part of a singular location. They enjoy traveling and testing their skills on a range of golf courses.
